A Wish
I lie on the ground,
and stare into space,
the stars start to move,
into the shape of your face.
I see you there now,
looking down at me,
with that cute little smile,
that I like to see.
You say "close your eyes",
"tell me what you see",
I see only two people,
just you and me.
We're walking the shoreline,
with our feet getting wet,
the horizon turns pink,
as the sun starts to set.
We make love through the night,
on that white sandy shore,
then I hold you while thinking,
I could want nothing more.
Oh I wish I could be,
in that one special place,
as I lie on the ground,
and I stare into space...
A dream....
I sit and gaze upon the stars,
wondering what you are doing and where you are
thinking of the things that i want so bad
i feel will never happen that makes me sad
wanting you to need me the way i do you
wanting your touch the whole night through
wanting your love each and every day
but feeling that love in each and every way
walking along the beach hand in hand
smiling and looking up at my man
telling him my love is true
never ever again feeling blue
oh how I wish you want the same thing
i guess it will always only be a dream
but i will keep hoping that in reality
that it will come true, and you will also want me.........
