What I love about this film is that even tho it happened in real life, the imagination that was present between these two characters was manifested in the film leaving you amazed at how this could have possibly happened. Perhaps the idea was to make people see what's going on inside their mind and dramatize the incident. There are some scenes in the film that would make you ask "WTF are they on drugs?" lol!
It's puzzling how they moved on with their lives after the murder... Juliet Hulme after being a convicted murder, is living a normal life under the name Anne Perry, and is known as an author for historical detective fiction. Unlike the Papin murder case, they went on with their lives. How amazing some people could get things back to normal after they completely messed things up! LOL
